How to fix the following errors (Possible Solution/s):
1.cki read Failed. (999999)
2.File is changed: W[2007] L[0] rez\
3. Client file corruption detect, Closing game client
4. Failed to connect to server: W[2003]L[0]
5. Failed to download the patch file list
6. Failed to Initialize Anti-hacking Module : W[2018] L[0] or Aegis Init Error
7. File is changed : W[2007]L[0] patcher_cf2.exe
8. File is changed: W[2007] L[2] crossfire.exe
9. File is changed: W[2007] L[0] hgwc.exe
10. Hack Tool has been detected (0:5:0:0)
11. Hack Tool has been detected (695:1:0:0)
12. Hack Tool has been detected (769:1:0:0)

1. cki read Failed.(999999)



Cause: Corrupted GameClub Launcher.
Step 1: Delete GameClub Laucher Folder or you can easily remove it via "control panel-add remove programs".

Step 2: Run the game and let CF launcher update.

2. File is changed: W[2007] L[0] rez\



Cause: An essential file is outdated.
Step 1: Delete the outdated essential file (e.g. RB001.REZ, crossfire.exe, version.ini)
Step 2: Download the updated essential file/s here - >>Download<<
Step 3: Paste the downloaded file inside the CF folder.
            For rez files paste it inside the rez folder.
Step 4: Run CFLauncher.

3. Client file corruption detect, Closing game client



Cause: CF client corrupted.
Step 1: Scan PC for viruses.
Step 2: Uninstall/Delete corrupted client (Crossfire Folder)
Default Destination:
For Win 7/XP (32bit)
C:\Program Files\GameClub\Philippines\CrossFire

For Win 7/XP (64bit)
C:\Program Files (x86)\GameClub\Philippines\CrossFire

Step 3: Download the latest and updated version client >>Download<<
Step 4: Please make sure to disable any security programs like anti-virus/firewall to avoid conflict during installation of the client.
Step 5: After installing the client please ensure to include your CF folder to your anti-virus/firewall to avoid false positive detection.
Step 6: Run CFlauncher.

4. Failed to connect to server : W[2003] L[0]



Cause: Server Maintenance / Crossfire Server Down / No internet connection / ip blocked

Step 1. Check for announcements if there is a server maintenance.
Step 2. If there's no server maintenance, check the forums or the news on crossfire's website for technical issue announcements.
Step 3. Wait for the up time of the Crossfire servers to be able to play.

5. Failed to download the patch file list



Cause: Repetition of patching or patch update failed.
Step 1: Check the version.ini file make sure it is updated.
Step 2: Download and install our latest and patch update in our CF Website
Manual Patch / Cumulative Patch: >>Download<<
Step 3: Please make sure to turn off your anti-virus/firewall before patching the file.

If error still occur
Step 1: Right click the version.ini file then uncheck the read-only.
Step 2: Change the latest version to 1099 then save.
Step 3: Right click the version.ini file again then check the read-only.
Step 4: CFLauncher.

6. Failed to Initialize Anti-hacking Module : W[2018] L[0] or Aegis Init Error



Cause: Problem with Security Program/s (eg. Anti-Virus, Internet Security..)
Step 1: Exclude the files that are falsely detected by the security program installed in your pc.
Step 2: Check for any third party program that may cause corrupted client. If your client is corrupted, try downloading the aegis file here >>Download<<
Step 3: Please make sure to check the file version of your CF client.
Latest Version = 1099
Steps on how to change the version file
a. Open your CF folder and locate for version.ini file (right click then properties)


b. Uncheck the read-only attribute.
c. Double click the version.ini open as notepad.
d. Change the latest version to 1099 then save (press Ctrl+S).
e. Right click version.ini again then go to properties.
f. Make sure that the version.ini file is checked read-only.

g. Run CFLauncher.

7. File is changed : W[2007]L[0] patcher_cf2.exe




Cause: False Detection of your antivirus programs.
Step 1: Disable the antivirus program.
Step 2: Download patcher_cf2.exe >>Download<<
Step 3: Paste it on your crossfire folder.
Step 4: Make sure the version.ini is in read-only.
Step 5: Run as administrator the "patcher_cf2.exe".
Step 6: Configure your antivirus settings. Add CF folder in your antivirus exceptions or exclusions list.
Step 7: Enable your antivirus program.
Step 8: Run CFLauncher.

8. File is changed: W[2007] L[2] crossfire.exe



Cause: Crossfire.exe or version.ini is outdated
Step 1: Please make sure to check the file version of your CF client.
Latest Version = 1099
Steps on how to change the version file
a. Open your CF folder and locate for version.ini file (right click then properties)


b. Uncheck the read-only attribute.
c. Double click the version.ini open as notepad.
d. Change the latest version to 1099 then save (press Ctrl+S).
e. Right click version.ini again then go to properties.
f. Make sure that the version.ini file is checked read-only.

g. Run CFLauncher.

If error still occurred kindly download the updated crossfire.exe files.
Step 1: Turn off your anti-virus program.
Step 2: Download the crossfire.exe - >>Download<<
Step 3: Paste the crossfire.exe in your CF folder.
Step 4: Make sure the version.ini is in read-only.
Step 5: Configure your anti-virus, CF folder must be in the exclusion/exception list.
Step 6: Turn on your anti-virus program.
Step 7: Run CFLauncher.

9. File is changed: W[2007] L[0] hgwc.exe



Cause: version file or hgwc is outdated.
Step 1: Please make sure to check the file version of your CF client.
Latest Version = 1099
Steps on how to change the version file
a. Open your CF folder and locate for version.ini file (right click "Open") .

b. Change the latest version to 1099 then save (press Ctrl+S).
c. Right click version.ini again then go to properties.

d. Make sure that the version.ini file is checked read-only.

e. Run CFLauncher.

If the error does still occur kindly download the updated hgwc.exe files.
Step 1:Download the latest and update hgwc.exe >>Download<<
Step 2: Paste it inside the CF folder.
Step 3: Make sure the version.ini is in read-only.
Step 4: Run CFLauncher.

10. Hack Tool has been detected (0:5:0:0)

Cause: Internet connection loss or having a problem with your connection
Step 1: Check or reboot your internet connection.

Step 1: Go to CF folder then locate and delete the "SndDrv.dll" (10kb), "SndDrv2.dll" (76kb) and "mlang.dll" (188kb) file.
