We have a bunch of rules here, aren't we? But here are the rules that are commonly violated around different forum boards:

Posting In All Caps
Never post in all caps! They impose harsh impression on any person, use proper capitalization.

Spamming
First of all what is spam?

Aside from your delicious canned processed meat product, Spam or specifically Forum Spam is defined as the posting of abusive, or unwanted messages on Internet forums.

To make it short: Spamming is a taboo here or in any other forums.. A big NO!
Spamming is punishable by temporary or permanent banishment depending on the severity.

What can be considered as spam?

1. Annoyingly short posts
Short posts like "Okay", "Huh?", "What", "No", "I don't know", "hehehehe", etc.. If you have nothing helpful to say about the topic then don't reply at all. Especially referring to those threads where the TS is asking a question or questions. It would save others the time to browse through replies especially those that are looking for answers. If you don't know the answer to the questions then don't reply at all.. Posts comprising of smileys only is also considered as spam.

2. Senseless posts
Posts that have nothing to do with the topic, or with anything sensible whatsoever. Stay with the topic as much as possible.

3. Multiple posting
Posting the same thing over and over again is considered as spamming. It is quite annoying and takes up a rather useful amount of space in the boards.

4. Conversational posts
Forums is not a chatroom kids. It was meant to discuss topics with all the members of the board. If you want to talk specifically to a person or a group of persons regarding personal issues or anything not related to the topic then make use of the PM function or any IM program out there.

Please keep in mind that the lesser you spam, the easier life gets here in our community. So please be considerate.
