Scam Policy

What is a scam?

- obtaining by means of deception including fake personalities, fake information or fraud.

It’s our goal to promote an enjoyable experience for our players. Since we have received a few reports of scamming, we will not tolerate this kind of behavior of players. There is no room for players who wish to engage in this sort of behavior, and severe action will be taken against known habitual scammers.

Good judgment will always be the first line of defense against scamming.

Scamming another Player

If a player is found to have perpetrated a scam, he/she may:

• First offense will be suspended temporarily from the game as stated in our player polices and seizure of scammed item.
• Second offense will be permanent suspension of account and item wipe out.

***We do not guarantee the return of the items lost through scam.

Scam Prevention FAQs

What should I do if I get scammed?
If you fall victim to a scam, contact one of the GMs and send them a pm immediately. Include this format when sending a pm:
Character Name:
Server:
Date and Time:
Incident Report:
Screenshot:

I purchased an item out of game and have not received my item! What should I do?
Gameclub is not held responsible for php trades. If you are scammed out of game, we will be unable to assist you. We do not support, condone, or investigate these types of transactions. When dealing with php trades, they aren’t entertained.

I was scammed will I get my item/s and/or money back?
We do not guarantee that we can retrieve the hacked/scammed items or gold. A player is responsible for his/her own actions and the security and confidentiality of his/her own account. We advise all gamers to be vigilant in protecting their own game accounts. Changing your account password/secondary passcode on a regular basis is a good start. Also, please be vigilant in checking the details of the in-game items you will be trading with other gamers before accepting a trade. Lost items due to negligence in trading transactions will not be compensated.

I was scammed again! Can you help me?
While we will make every effort to assist players in need, we want players to learn from their mistakes and take measures to ensure the same mistakes are not repeated. In this way, we prevent players from becoming career victims and utilizing the gm staff as a crutch or shield against scammers.

How to Avoid Becoming the Victim of a Scam?
Never give your items to anyone that you do not trust. Do not give your items to other players especially those who you do not know personally. When someone asked you to borrow your item, make sure that you know the person you are lending your items.

Double check the name of the character you were trading.
Be careful when trading your items to other players and double check their character names before you confirm the trade. Lost items due to negligence in trading transactions will not be compensated.

GMs and Gameclub Employees will never ask you for your items and passwords.
GMs and Gameclub Employees will never ask you to transfer your items to them and ask for your passwords. Be aware of players attempting to impersonate a GM or any Gameclub Employee to trick you into giving him/her your items/gold. If a player ever attempts to defraud you in this fashion, take a screenshot and pm one of the GMs of Dragona immediately to report the issue. Impersonation of any Gameclub Employees and GameMasters is strictly prohibited and will result to account suspension permanently.

Scam/phishing sites and suspicious in-game mails.
Beware of phishing sites, hack sites and free E-coins / items sites. Never login your GameClub account on any other websites.

Do not participate in cross server trades.
We do not support the trading of gold or items across servers. If you engage in these types of transactions, the risk of being scammed is placed entirely on the player's shoulders.

Be cautious in the friends you make.
Trust should be earned rather than given freely. Be careful in the friends and alliances you choose in game. When you join a group or guild, you are now governed by another player's rules. The choice to stay in a guild or group if you do not agree with their methods and practices is yours.

Keep your account information secret.
We do not support account sharing. All too frequently, scamming and account hacking can be attributed to account sharing. While you may develop meaningful relationships with those you meet online, anytime you share your information with another person, the security of your account is seriously compromised.
